Conference Overview
Participants will hear about the cutting-edge research taking place at UF and connect with scientists, physicians and students to engage in a dialogue about community health and well-being. The conference will take place at the University of Florida Cancer and Genetics Research Complex in Gainesville, Florida, and will include a social event at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center.
Certificates of attendance are provided to all attendees and teachers may be eligible for continuing education credits by submitting these to their local districts.
Objectives
- Learn about exciting cancer research being conducted at the UF Health Cancer Center.
- Gain insights into biological processes involved in cancer onset, growth, spread and recurrence.
- Learn about new cancer treatment concepts, approaches and data analyses.
- Interact and build relationships with other educators interested in disseminating information to raise cancer awareness.
